No event triggered from JobState.TransientError to JobState.Error ?

Jul 18, 2011 at 3:47 PM

I've currently implemented the use of SharpBits in my application and I've ran into an issue which I can't quite seem to figure out.

In my initialization of the BitsManager I've added an eventhandler to all possible events, and I've also tried to add an eventhandler directly on the job.

Thereafter I set the NoProgressTimeout on the job to 5 seconds to trigger the JobState.Error on the job for debugging purposes.
But when the job goes from TransientError to Error, no event is triggered at all.

Isnt there supposed to be an event triggered for this?

I have the same issue, and also with onJobModified event.

You need to manually create a validation to check the job state.

but sometimes this way possibly could make things more troublesome

need advance from Xidar
