Using like a service

Sep 5, 2011 at 4:35 PM

I created  a service application using sharpBITS library and it working really well.
Now I deployed my app running as a real NT service (during developing time I use it in emulation of a service for debug it quickly) but when the application try to add a job on BITS queue I receive OnInterfaceError that report the follow message: "The operation being requested was not performed because the user has not logged on to the network. The specified service does not exist."

I tried to change a service account using administrator or the same user of develop environment where the service work well, but the error persist.
Probably I did a mistake when I add a Job...

Any idea or suggestion?

Thanks

Erik

A user of BITS must be logged on to submit a job or run a job. The only exception to this is the SYSTEM account. You can only run as LOCAL SYSTEM.

I received same error also using LOCAL SYSTEM acount.

I believe that I made a mistake... I create the job and after I set BitsCredentials class for authenticate the user.

There is another way for log BITS before to submit a job?

Thank you

Erik
